Accio tissues
It's Sunday. Or Monday, possibly Tuesday. It's either early morning or twilight, it's hard to tell. I hope that you'll forgive me for my isolated manner and scattered mind. I'm suffering from an acute case of Post-Potter Depression.

The Best Albums of 2011... So Far
This year is halfway done. Weird. This year already seems different than last year. WAY DIFFERENT. For the first time, the top 5 is not surrounded by huge stars (e.g. Kanye West, Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem, Big Boi, Arcade Fire), but it's surrounded by mostly newcomers. This year's list includes artists that are releasing new stuff on a big label or just new stuff altogether. I'm here to bring you the 20 of the year... so far. (P.S.: No description really. At least not 'till the end of the year. Until then, stare at the picture and download it.)
List starts after the jump.

The Sights and Sounds of Record Store Day 2011
I am an idiot. A huge idiot. This is what happens to me when I arrive about two hours late to my local record store on Record Store Day. Interested? More after the jump.

Rareware And The N64 Era
Many people who grew up playing video games in the 90's might remember this little logo. Rareware is a British developer that develops games for Microsoft ever since Microsoft bought the company from Nintendo back in 2002. In the past couple of years, this company has been known to periodically work on games like Perfect Dark Zero, Grabbed By The Ghoulies, Viva PiƱata, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Kinnect Sports. All these games obviously don't hold up to the company's entries on the N64. With this little countdown of sorts, I will countdown the 5 most important Rareware/N64. In no particular order, that is. Videos and descriptions after the jump.
Put This In Your Ears: How Did This Get Made?
Ever wonder how so many terrible films get made? So does Paul Scheer (Human Giant, The League), Jason Mantzoukas (The League), and June Diane Raphael (Flight of the Concords, Party Down). So much so, they decided to make a podcast about it. How Did This Get Made? just started around December of 2010 and has slowly released two episodes every month. If i'm correct, Paul mentioned about doing one once a week on a recent episode but I might be mistaking. Anyways, I highly recommend it. So far the films they have talked about were All About Steve, Battlefield Earth, Old Dogs, The Last Airbender, Season Of the Witch, and Burlesque. I have to say that the best moments came in during the explanation of All About Steve. Just get it for free on iTunes. Go and Enjoy.
